Bicycle Film Festival Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Japan Tour: Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, and Onomichi

「BICYCLE FILM FESTIVAL（バイシクルフィルムフェスティバル／BFF）」は2001年、ニューヨークで自転車をテーマにした映画祭として誕生し、音楽、アート、フードを融合した多面的なイベントとして、世界108都市を巡回しながら25年にわたって続き、これまで100万人以上を動員してきました。2025年は、BFFの創立25周年！そして日本初上陸から20周年の節目。記念すべきアニバーサリーを祝うツアーを国内4都市で、2週にわたって開催します。BFF創設者ブレント・バーバー氏も本拠地ニューヨークから来日予定！　自転車カルチャーを牽引してきた映画✕自転車の“祝祭”を、サイクリストや映画ファンのみなさんとともに一緒に祝い、盛り上げます。

The Bicycle Film Festival (BFF) is a global event that spotlights the creative spirit of cycling through film, art, music, and curated cultural experiences, traveling to 108 cities and reaching over one million attendees in person and millions more online.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary and 20 years in Japan, Bicycle Film Festival will tour Japan this November 20–30, 2025 with screenings and events in four cities: Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, and Onomichi. BFF founder Brendt Barbur will travel from New York to join the celebrations. Together with cyclists and movie fans, we honor and elevate this global festival of film and bicycle culture.

フェスティバルでは、公募期間中に世界中のフィルムメーカーから寄せられるドキュメンタリーからアニメーションまで、数百本の中短長編映画の中から、特に優れた作品を厳選して上映します（全作品、日本語字幕付き。英語以外の作品には英語字幕も付きます）。

The festival showcases a distinguished selection of films, from documentaries to animations, carefully chosen from hundreds of short and medium-length submissions from filmmakers around the world during the open call. All screenings will include Japanese subtitles, with English subtitles provided for non-English works.

On the day of the event, a limited number of free bicycle parking spaces will be available through the event’s parking service, CYCLE CLOAK.
Check-in starts at 11:00, last check-in at 6:30 pm, and all bicycles must be picked up by 8:30 pm.
